This is the kind of thing that conservatives want their councilors doing? Running around for a literal year desperately trying to gather enough signatures from the small minority of residents who want to strip their high street of pedestrian and leisure accommodations? That is so sad, what a waste of a human being, what a waste of a council seat.

Maybe a decade ago ago I lived in a small town where the local chamber of commerce worked with the city to fight against the opening of a restaurant catering to a foreign ethnicity in a prime location on main street. This reminds me of that.

Wow. People “standing around” is not antisocial behavior. Gathering is social behavior! The petty bourgeois complainers and people who feel entitled to park anywhere and everywhere are the ones who are actually engaging in antisocial behavior.
