Being unhinged and easily distracted isn’t equivalent to that.
Could asked nicelier. 🙃
Ai says “QR codes placed on ambulances (especially in Germany by organizations like Johanniter-Unfall-Hilfe) are used in an anti-gawking campaign to deter bystanders from illegally filming accident scenes with their smartphones.”
And
“QR codes are used on ambulances and in emergency transport initiatives in Nigeria to instantly verify vehicle legitimacy, access real-time first aid guides, and connect citizens to nearby accredited medical services.”
I must be a terrible and uncaring person because my immediate thought is “why does that ambulance have a QR code on it?”
It’s a private ambulance service. It goes to their site, https://8medical.co/.

What does a human say?
Lots of things, can’t shut ‘em up usually.
“Why don’t you just google it.”
I can’t be fucked. That’s why I used it with disclosure to be better than nothing which is what you would have gotten.
No, speculation is not better than nothing.
Most claims on here are no better than speculation. Go check and verify. Do not believe people for they tend to be wrong or just state held beliefs.
It’s not like I didn’t check the other results to make sure it is about accurate, but didn’t get primary sources. People usually don’t.
I’m almost certainly wrong and dumb, but how does a QR code prevent gawking?
By making filming annoying. Modern phones evaluate the code and give the option to follow the link with an info brochure
Now I understand why my GrapheneOS camera app makes me switch to a dedicated mode to scan QR codes.
Ok, but maybe you shouldn’t optimize for recording injured, dying and dead people.
It’s literally just a little bubble you click on with the link that would them open in a browser.
