It seems like more and more often when I see people on a video or being interviewed on TV or whatever, someone is wearing a black ring. Usually on the index finger but not always.

Does a black ring actually mean something or is that just a current fashion fad?

I also see a lot of rings on index fingers or even thumbs, that may or may not be black. Do they mean anything?

      I didn’t even think of that. But in most cases I’m seeing black ones, as if the color is important.

    I know a lot of folks use a silicone band to stand in for their wedding bands especially when they work a more physical job where a nice ring would get damaged

      Or where it is dangerous to wear metal. I always had to remove mine when working on high voltage electronics. Eventually swapped to a wood one

    My black ring is an Oura. They offer multiple colors and finishes. There are also rings like Enso Rings which are like rubber, and other non-metal types that are good for working out and other times where you don’t want a metal ring.
