Thats the thing. Fully ai generated code becomes a mess and has more chances to break in the long run or become very inefficient, thats just a given atm.
Ive seen projects flurish with ai because a senior dev looked over it, but ive seen projects go to hell because it was fully ai code with no control on quality and correctness.
It might work at one point, and be completely unusable the next.
Programming is more than just “it works” and if a project is successful or not in the long run also hinges if the code quality and architecture is maintained.
Who cares if it foes the job?
How long will it do the job? How well does it do the job?
Well it’s a program, so as long as anything else?
