Also, can someone advise: is this the right community for this, or would it be better off in the politics/meme (though it’s not really a meme, even if it should be) kind of post?

    He’s right tho. Pro-level shit posting requires that you don’t mark up the original, and leave a reasonable doubt that you are the OP

      Edit: plus, if I didn’t make it clear my opinion, you can guarantee someone (probably most people) would misconstrue it as me advocating it, which isn’t the case. I don’t agree with the Reddit post, so I have no choice but to smudge my opinion over it. You and him are literally the only two people who have ‘complained’ about it, everyone else gets it (so far). Dont believe me, read through the comments section in full. Seriously, read through it - you two are the only two so far who just don’t ’get’ it (I.e. the modifications) or at least are the only two who have voiced issue with it. I’m obviously going to go with the majority, not the minority

        Ya thats the point of shitposting and trolling, you want them to accuse you of thinking like that, thats the engagement bait. Thats what makes it a shit post. Like the classic “mental retardation or bait” You just post the dumbest thing you can find and then play along with the comments for engagement. It’s supposed to confuse and frusterate the viewer. Im not complaining im just helping your shit posting grow and mature, you can do what you want its a free fediverse
