Total users are huge now.

There are many websites out there that pull data from the fediverse. So take that with a grain of salt. But anecdotally I am seeing a small rise in people using the various platforms as each get more mature and servers somewhat stabilize.

      if not bots then alt accounts.

      just had one recently where I would comment, get a response, and immediately get downvotes from the same people over and over again.

      I can say some pretty inflammatory shit, but I somehow doubt it’s fascinating enough for people to camp my comments.
