yeah that’s great but what’s the endgame? how do they get there? detail a concrete plan informed by genuine experience.

Outline a 100 step battle plan from your experience as a battle commander or you cannot advocate for resistance to imperialism!

Do you realize how servile and pathetic you come across?

Develop domestic drone mass production, set up fortresses in the jungles and mountains, strike at shipping through the panama canal, asymmetrical warfare in other nations, threaten the money. Same thing as Iran is doing at a smaller scale. Work with Cuba who already has these types of policies and programs and maintains their sovereignty despite being even closer to the USA and even easier to blockade due to them being an island.

I guarantee you the USA would back off after an initial wave of assaults like they did with Iran. They have no appetite for a ground invasion and wars cannot be won from the sky.

If you seriously believe imperialism is impossible to resist why are you even a socialist? Just go be a fascist or liberal if socialism has 0% chance of ever working because USA controls all and you cannot resist.

how long would that take? how long would they have? what resources would be necessary? how would they get them? what is their current military readiness? when was the last time the united states did a ground invasion? what were the circumstances then? what makes circumstances different now? how many civilian casualties can they expect? what is their current medical readiness? is it feasible for the us to do a decapitation strike? what happens in the event they try? how many of their civilians are right-wing? can these gusanos take over? how would they get oil to cuba? how would they resist clandestine interference? how might a country under the monroe doctrine be different from a country outside the area of the monroe doctrine that can shut down the strait of hormuz? can their tactics be adapted to work inside the radius of the monroe doctrine? if so, how? how much? and finally, how would they do all that within the limitations of chavismo? because they were never a marxist-leninist country. others in this thread and others have talked at length about that.

this is just infantile. the only way in your mind to resist imperialism is to bomb the venezuelan communes, and the whole of venezuela, until it’s nothing but dust. your freedom fighters are only good to you if they all get themselves killed. and if you’re gonna start pulling out barely-relevant quotes:

A revolution does not march a straight line. It wanders where it can, retreats before superior forces, advances wherever it has room, attacks whenever the enemy retreats or bluffs, and above all, is possessed of enormous patience.

                  - Mao Zedong

it’s not lost on me that mao himself came to power because of his leadership during a massive retreat. and my guess is that despite having done no research, despite being unable to answer a single one of the legitimate questions i’ve asked, you imagine yourself in a better position to speak on this issue than the venezuelan anti-imperialists. here’s another mao quote for you.

Unless you have investigated a problem, you will be deprived of the right to speak on it. Isn’t that too harsh? Not in the least. When you have not probed into a problem, into the present facts and its past history, and know nothing of its essentials, whatever you say about it will undoubtedly be nonsense.

but real socialists like mao or lenin or stalin would never negotiate with the enemy! certainly they would never sign a treaty with a bourgeois state, liberal or fascist! and if i look, i won’t be able to find a single picture of any one of these real socialists standing with a western leader like the evil delcy rodriguez. a real socialist like joseph stalin would just push the permanent revolution button and abolish all existing social relations at one stroke! anything less would be cowardly, says the infantile westerner who will never suffer the consequences of the collapse of a socialist project.

lenin, stalin and mao never once surrendered their entire nations resources in perpetuity to be held and controlled by the imperialists. All you are doing is making excuses for surrender and coping over total defeat. You would make these same arguments about Yeltsin and Gorbachev, they apply equally to their treasons, after all those were just “strategic retreats” and the party can never do wrong or be compromised. This isn’t a “retreat” it’s a complete collapse and capitulation into non-socialism. An economy dictated and controlled by Americans who disburse the funds and write the checks can never be socialism. A nation falling into being colonized is not a “retreat” it’s a defeat of everything a nation represents and its millions of people.

Mao retreated during a WAR and REVOLUTION against imperialists! Not by surrendering to them! He won because he refused to surrender and fought against all odds!
