If you go with the stand your ground solution, it doesn’t matter what the driver thinks. Because you have all the evidence needed that he came at you with malicious intent, and also the driver is dead at the end and cannot contradict you. If a trolley comes at you like that, you have a legal right to stand your ground and defend yourself with lethal force.
