I can’t trust anything Snowden says because he’s in Russia, but at the same time I rarely disagree with what he says, so I guess a Russian clock can be right at most times of the day at least when the Kremlin isn’t specifically tampering with it.
I am aware. It’s not him as a human being that I don’t trust, it’s the leverage the Russian government has over him (due to no fault of his own). He is basically a political prisoner as far as I’m concerned. I suppose I should’ve made that clear.

He didn’t choose to be in Russia. His passport was canceled while he was in Russia on a layover to his final destination.
