    Not sure what spell the U.S. has over them, but it’s concerning and pathetic. I say that as an American.

      Pretty sure all they need over them is that Europe as a whole imports a lot of diesel, and they get half of that from the US. Trump has threatened to stop exports to try to lower US fuel prices for the election. If he does, Europe would be scrambling. It’s hardly a surprise that they don’t want the US to turn off the taps. It’s also not a surprise that the US is selling fuel they need, since that keeps their oil companies happy.
