I’m failing to see how those words imply that they don’t live in the US. I think it’s an expression that someone from a country could use while talking to someone from the same country.
I guess I don’t see how me living in fascist America makes me blind to it, but somehow that doesn’t apply to him? Logically that would mean he isn’t in America so he CAN see it.
