Rape is barely even illegal in the US. In our culture, if a man gets raped, that’s funny, if a girl gets raped, no she didn’t; that bitch is lying.

As far as creeping on underage people, others have pointed out the hypocrisy there.

Rape is a crime no matter what gender did it. If a man rapes a woman he should be put to jail. But it is also a fact that so many girls willingly sleeps with a man then calls it rape because she feels guilty. I feel awful for actual rape victims but also for so many men wrongfully accused of rape. We should have a gender neutral middle ground.

The number of men who claim innocence and the number of men who are actually innocent are two different things. Don’t let a real, but otherwise statistical anomaly, distract you from the actual harm done. A male victim and a female victim have equal rights to justice but a woman and a man do not have equal chances of experiencing sexual assault. Which cause deserves your attention?

Where are your “so many men” statistics?

I’m a dude that was falsely accused but everything I’ve seen shows I’m a very small statistic, especially compared to women who are raped w/o consequences for their rapist and many slut shamed. It’s terrible and life-altering to be falsely accused, but so is being raped and that happens far more often.
