I was dragged to see Fantastic Four. I thought it would be good and wholesome like CAPTAIN AMERICA but I’m really upset because they really ruined the franchise with all the WOKENESS.

Here’s a list of ask the ways they ruined this film and my weekend:

  • set in the 1950s, when like 80% of workers were unionised
  • has a pregnancy, totally unrealistic, just pandering to feminists
  • the main character is played by Pedro Pascal, whose ethnicity is South American
  • I briefly saw like 2 black characters, totally ruined my immersion, didn’t feel like New York at all
  • Dared to showcase space travel, a big slap in the face to our president defunding woke space
  • Only half of the Fantastic Four are incredibly blonde 😥

Watched it on Hextube and several people made the observation it was like a trilogy of storyline smashed into a single movie and it all feels very rushed jumping from one plot point to the next, and they manage to convince the entire world that a giant space monster is coming to eat them and build giant teleportation devices which is incredibly immersion breaking when in reality you can’t even get everyone to wear a mask. Also the Thing grows a rock beard halfway through.

It’s a very “clean” 1950s though, they don’t really show you anything happening in the world nor anything wrong in america. You see some black diplomats nodding during white woman’s speech at the un so somehow decolonization happened?

And no one even complains that reed richards is latino.

Probably takes place in a timeline where there’s no racism or some shit
