I got my main Red 3000 model back in 2016 for £20 already jailbroken with a bunch of roms already installed. Sadly the retro boom has skyrocketed the price, I’d just tell anyone nowadays to emulate it. PPSSPP runs on nearly everything.

The PSP was my smartphone before smartphones were a thing, all the neighbors with unsecured wifis right next to the school hated me.
Its a fun system. I have a 2000, but I don’t play on handhelds a whole lot. It still feels futuristic to me. Much more than anything that came after.
