When I bought my house in '21 most of the fixtures had already been converted to LED, I quickly swapped out most of the remaining bulbs. The only remaining flourescents are in a handful of fixtures that are very infrequently used, specifically the basement and detached garage where I can’t immediately find the ballast to replace them with LED tubes, plus one fixture in a bathroom that takes a specialty base so it’s not cost effective to replace the CFL.
I did hang onto the flourescents I replaced and I’ve swapped a couple in the basement out as they failed. Down to about 2 used flourescents to swap out then the basement will start to migrate to LED. The garage will be a slightly bigger project to rewire the fixtures for LEDs
You can get fluorescent style LEDs that work in the existing ballast, if you have a store near you, they should have them in stock source I used to work there
