Generally one thing that gives AI slop away is that it looks from first look to be high-effort, but the main content itself (here the meme text), is extremely low-effort.
Since this is a repost of a repost, and I remember seeing this image in the past I did a bit more digging, Google reverse image search cannot find an original source, all all images found date from after 2024, so GenAI images were there.
If this was from a real artist I’d expect to be able to find some original source and not just Reddit/Instagram posts from clickfarms with it.
