Actually my dad. The older and fatter he gets, the more detached frim reality he gets. When we were kids, we used to go on 8 hour hikes sometimes. Now he gets angry when there is a parking spot closer to the store and i didn’t pick that one. It’s literally a car lengh more to walk. My sister talked about her vacation, she was in a ski resort that has no cars. My dad already did s audible scoff when he heard that. Then my sister said how nice it was, and they had a 15-20min walk from the gondola to the hotel and my dad was outraged. He said shit like: WHAT? that’s crazy and it was insane that anyone would even do that to themselves and they should be happy that anyone is going there in the first place.

LOL I’ve been to ski resorts where the gondola is a 15-minute walk from where the shuttle bus from the remote parking lot drops you off. Or another one where you ride a little cable car from the paid parking lot, and then still have to walk 10-minutes through a faux Alpine village. Or another one where the parking garage is frankly pretty convenient but it costs $50 a day. A 15-minute walk from the hotel sounds like luxury.
