    People are outraged once again by out-of-control tipping culture after an airport self-service checkout asked for an 18 percent tip.

    The simplest explanation is that it is a default setting or the terminal was used in a different setting previously.

    The tips are likely pooled so it won’t raise alarm bells.

    That wouldn’t be newsworthy tho.
