The slur is the N-word. Which is to say: My not very informed impression is that even racists don’t use the word “negro.”

Nitpick: Negro is pretty bad but it’s not a slur per se, more of a case where the terminology evolved. The slur is the N-word. Which is to say: My not very informed impression is that even racists don’t use the word “negro.”
