Heyy, I’m learning programming and trying to choose a focus, I saw you can make web/backend w node, desktop (bloatware but discord uses it so if it works it works), games (not AAA and not optimized for performance but it shouldn’t matter for indie too much) Is there anything that compares? I wanna focus on one thing instead of spreading myself over a ton of languages, I do feel js is interesting for this, but I’m just starting out, so looking to hear some thoughts of people more familiar with programming.

Yeah i won’t go a ton into detail, but he (i wont say which one out of the 2 main guys) had an interesting relationship with his girlfriend at the time, so he threw some cash my way for me to do her in front of him. It wasn’t like too weird or like the cuck thing, they were just really a horny couple and w me being a cute young short guy on a girl cosplay… Well seems they love having fun haha. They were super respectful and we had lunch together watching rick and morty before getting it on. Also they love playing the stock market, this godot guy told me he over estimates consulting jobs for big companies (2 weeks for a thing that takes him like 3-4 days) and then he spends the rest of the time playing with stocks, he tried to explain it to me but it was super complicated for my small brain. TLDR: godot guys are chill af

I can’t find any evidence of Juan Linietsky or Ariel Manzur being involved in stock consultation. But there is some evidence of Linietsky being involved in ‘tech consultation’, so you’re likely referring to him.

It’s just a fun fact, not something for defamation, to win internet clout or anything like that (that’s why I don’t wanna get into too much detail) Also I don’t think the guy i met did consultation regarding stocks, he did consultation with his like programming skills and stuff, the stock thing is just something he showed me he and his gf liked doing for fun on the side (can’t remember but might’ve been related to something like daytrading more than a long term 10-15 year set and forget investment) But just to reiterate, great people at least from the little time i hanged out with them they seemed super chill.

I’ll take your word at that. If they are good people, you could probably befriend them if they still live in the same region as you. At least, I assume they did, unless you used Grindr while traveling or met them at a hotel.

Getting to hang out with queer programmers does sound like a good experience. I am biased, being a queer programmer whose friend group comprises many queer programmers.
mhmm! It’s awesome, and not only like open-minded/queer but a lil anti-establisment too, they had the usual ideas and discourse common in the open source space, also yea being queer myself too, I can’t help but notice tech it really open to differences like that, another reason to like it!
