Respectfully I disagree. I’m not defending capitalism here, I’m just observing history. There’s always been assholes at the top, be they CEOs, or kings, or emperors, or whatever have you.
Believe me, without the mentality of maximizing revenue and minimizing costs, 99% of these asshole CEOs wouldn’t exist

Yes that’s obvious. But I am referring to this type of asshole CEO, which is very much aligned with the capitalist mentality of these times.
