California Gov. Gavin Newsom vetoed a law Sunday that would have expanded the state’s privacy protections to ban the sales of online users’ sensitive information, breaking with a group of states that have prohibited the practice.
He is imo. He has most Millennials I’ve spoken with interested. He has name recognition, good experience in the role as an executive, and he has a decade of populist messaging to back him up. He’s not a fully forced fledged progressive but he’s moving away from fascism and that’s pretty cool. The only attack against him that works is he’s gay and for most people with a brain that’s not an indictment.
