I had Allstate for homeowners insurance. Hail storms, wind storms, etc etc, they’d all say “this roof has another 10 years”. After a bad hail storm an adjustor came out and outright contradicted himself on what is and isn’t hail damage. Denied a claim.
A couple years later we got the tail ends of a hurricane. Trees down, tore off an awning, the works. Adjustor comes out and says it’s not enough damage to replace the roof, only minor repairs on 2 slopes. I fought that shit for 15 months. 2 more adjustors came out and the last one I specifically pointed out new water damage on the ceilings in 4 separate locations in 4 separate rooms. At one point they said “why didn’t you put a tarp up?” To which I replied “why should I put a tarp up if there was no roof damage?”
They finally agreed to a new roof, and had to pay out to repair ceiling damage.
A month after construction was complete I cancelled the plan and moved to USAA (who is also a pain). I would still occasionally get calls from the local Allstate rep asking about switching back to which I tell them to fuck off.

Seems quite inhuman, does it not?
and that finally – and this goes for the capitalists too –
an inhuman power rules over everything.
It’s a shame there isn’t a better system. Absolutely nowhere in the world to look to for another way. Oh well.

Need more Luigis in the world.
Here’s a list of everything Luigi did wrong.
And that was my list of everything Luigi did wrong.
His Civ6 mods were pretty good, too!
EDIT: Okay, I was apparently misinformed in some way into believing that the plumber was the same person as the Civ modder. I had to get this corrected, but I will choose to continue believing in this ironically, because it is funny
I hope knowing how much people appreciate him helps at least a little. Considering what he’s living through now.
I mean, he really should’ve ditched the evidence. Getting away with it is a lot better than not. I don’t think it’d take much speculation to get the correct answer as to why someone would shoot a health insurance exec, so no real need for the manifesto, either.
dude that shit was all planted.
either he was trying to get caught, or it was wildly illegal parallel construction.
Guess who paid an ER bill in full today!
ER bill? Like, having to pay to go to the emergency room??
Weird.
Have you been through the appeals process before? If not this may be helpful: https://www.healthcare.gov/appeal-insurance-company-decision/internal-appeals/
Hope you can get this resolved.
I’m sorry that happened to you
