If our goal is the empowerment and greater freedom of people, mobile Linux appears to be a more feasible route to achieve those goals in the long term than AOSP.
There are some videos on youtube but they’re quite old. It could be daily driveable but you would need to be willing to accept some jank. There’s a video of someone using Ubuntu touch on one from like a month ago.
