Probably something about millions of them being tortured and killed in concentration camps that makes mocking the Jewish people kinda taboo.

For the most part, they’ve been pretty chill about the whole thing, frankly… But those cuts run deeeep. I’m not Jewish, and even I’m disgusted by how they were rounded up and slaughtered like cattle for no reason other than being who they are.

The biggest issue that I think you’re going to face is that most people can’t differentiate between the Jewish faith and the Jewish people (who may or may not believe in the Jewish faith).

Generally, I don’t think that making fun of the faith is any more or less taboo than poking fun at Christians or Catholics or whatever… But making fun of the Jewish people, is generally a no fly zone.

Since people lack the intelligence, awareness, and shits to give, in order to see that being Jewish and believing in the Jewish faith are separate. So if you make fun of one, you’re making fun of both.

Edit: let me back up for a second to say: I’m just trying to explain the behaviour. I am neither Jewish, nor a fan of the Jewish people, nor do I have any strong feelings against them per-se. This message is only discussing how others tend to see the Jewish people/faith/whatever. It does not, in whole or in part, express how I feel about anything at all, ever, for any reason.

Holocaust survivors are few and far between but the zionists keep milking that cow (neglecting the fact the nazis didn’t target only jews).

Palestine has been suffering their own continued holocaust for over 70 years, perpetrated by the zionists.
Yeah people conflate race, culture, ethnicity, religion and what not into “being jew” because they themselves do that, so that they can claim any criticism is antisemitism.

Fuck the taboo, let me say it more clearly ISRAEL IS A SUPREMACIST JEWISH STATE. I didn’t conflate judaism and zionism, I didn’t say I’m a “choosen person” by god, I don’t spit on other religions, I don’t promote stealing from non-jews, I don’t condone nor justify pedophilia or hide pedophiles, I don’t bribe and blackmail people, I didn’t help carrying out other genocides and lie about it.

And when i find people who do this and call them out, I need to remember concentration camps? Fuck you, Fuck israel, Fuck zionism and Fuck the jews. (Sue me)

I don’t believe a single fucking word these disgusting liars and professional gaslighter say. Judging by how they treat Palestinians and they lie about it, from now on, I will assume EVERYTHING they say is a lie. So before we go back to WWII let’s check the crimes these scums did first.

Oh, I don’t think that’s taboo at all. That’s basically the common fare.

My entire point is that people will conflate mocking the Jewish religion, for mocking the Jewish people; which will get them up on a high horse and unhappy and/or angry with you for being antisemitic.

Comedy is different than genuine criticism. The first is allowed, the second not. You are free to do as they tell you.

Probably. I’m not going to argue about what’s happening over there.

People seem to have a lot of opinions on it and the only strong feelings I have about it are that people should stop killing eachother because grown men who are supposed to be leaders of their respective nations, cannot make peace because they’re too childish to have sympathy, empathy, and any shreds of humanity to not starve, bomb, kill, maim, or otherwise destroy eachother.

The reasons why they’re doing what they’re doing, IMO, are not as important as the lives they’re ending in the process.

Stop conflating Israel’s atrocities and zionism in general with Judaism and Jewish people. It 1) plays right into Israel’s strategy and 2) is, or at the very least begets, antisemitism.

Judaism is a religion and not an ethnicity. A white person from NEW JERSEY putting a tiny hat doesn’t change his ethnicity.

A jew in New Jersey is an american (location) following judaism (religion).

A jew in Palestine is a semite/arab (location) following judaism (religion).

Again, I didn’t conflate them, israel is a self proclaimed jewish supremacists state.

How is saying ‘the genocide they’re committing’ when talking about Judaism not conflating Jews with Israel?

You are not reading eh? IT IS conflating the two, you are just mad at the wrong people.

Zionist deeply conflated their supremacist ideology with judaism 100 or so years ago. This way, if someone criticises you, you can call him antisemantic and go on with your ethnic cleansing.

But it’s more than conflating, it’s hijacking it, because often many zionists in power positions don’t call themselves zionists but jews. Again this is a shield.

Do you want to be a practicing jew without all the lying, stealing, pedophilia, blackmailing and genocide? Be my guest.

Aren’t you tired to be lied to your face every day on every fucking platform? Do you think is okay to lie so you can massacre kids?

Instead of your pointless rhetorical questions, answer mine please.

82% of the Jewish population supports what the Zionists are doing in Gaza. Fuck Israel and fuck any feelings they have about being mocked. They don’t deserve to be protected by the world.

Trump’s approval rating is listed at 35%. Was I, an American, ever polled on this? No. Am I rejecting it outright because clearly based on my own experience the sample size was not 100%? Nope.

If the Jewish population, especially those living in Israel, don’t want to be lumped in with genocide, they can do something about it. Same as Americans who don’t want to be lumped in with those committing the destruction of the American country. I’m lumped in until I do something about it, and that’s fair. Want a good name? Make it.

Um, ok, but you didn’t say the Jewish population of where. Israel? The US? The world? Pretty useless to throw out a number without clarifying that. I guess what I should’ve said is ‘what, they asked a representative sample of every Jewish population or community on the planet?’

Also ‘an approval rating of x’ means ‘x% of POLLED Americans approve’, NOT ‘x% of Americans approve’. Statistics are misleading when you use imprecise language like that.
