What’s the laptop right now with the best “Quality × Performance / Price” ratio? I want to make sure every dollar I spend is worth it.

My budget is around $2,000 ± $500.
I’m fine upgrading the hardware myself
don’t need Windows preinstalled if that saves me money
at least 32GB of RAM.
Size: any
Screen: any

Basically, I’m looking for a high-performance, high-quality gaming laptop that worth its money.

In many Linux users opinion, yes. The Lenovo Thinkpad is goated. I’d share that opinion. Very happy with mine and it’s 6 years old. If it’s still in price range, see if you can find one with an AMD Ryzen 9 CPU, recent gens.
