What do you think would happen with the millions of Mexicans living in the US? I mean, how much would they accept until the bough breaks?
Not to mention that many of the Mexican drug cartels have ex Mexican military, trained by the US. This is not going to be the same as the quick’n easy roll-em-in invasion they had in Iraq.
If that happens it could be quite ugly for the 1.6 million US expats there.
