Nobody supports Hamas, but standing with Palestinians is not supporting Hamas, we are anti-genocide

Literally nothing wrong with supporting Hamas. It’s time to move past these liberal tendencies if you want to be a real leftist.

Why would I support violent nationalist militants propped up by Netanyahu?? It’s time to move on from controlled opposition if you want to be a real leftist.

…Wait, sorry I didn’t get the memo on which hamas narrative we were pushing today

Calling an armed militant group that gets blown up daily “controlled opposition” is some of the most pathetic leftist larping I’ve ever seen in my life.

Calling them “violent” is the liberal cherry on top 🤣

Americans deserve everything they’re getting right now.

Why would I support any group who’s resistance looks like a rounding error?

Well at least the had that bump of resistance on Oct 7. Oh wait sorry, I forgot that that was actually a false flag and Israel allowed it to happen or shot their own civilians or whatever. So I guess you can scratch that off for them.

Well let’s just look farther back, I’m sure they were fighting the good fight since they took over in 2007

Oh… Hmm… That’s… Unfortunate… Seems like their resistance hasn’t been doing much against their oppressors.

And sure their popularity is currently plummeting within Gaza itself, but I’m sure that will turn around once everyone is dead. Palestinians will be scrambling to hop right back on the bandwagon. They just need more Critical Support and everything will turn out great! Here’s to 20 more years of progress! 🍻

If people do not support the Palestinian resistance, they do not support the Palestinians. And they are pro-genocide.

Hamas and other factions are the only people actually fighting against genocide. People who don’t support them support empty platitudes and words.

For a longer explanation You Can’t Be Pro-Palestine and Anti-Resistance

This is a false dichotomy, of course you can be pro Palestinian but also reject an organisation that has committed horrendous crimes like Hamas. Hamas may justify their crimes as resistance but does killing babies and other civilians really constitute resistance or terrorism.

My own government, the ANC resisted apartheid by targeting infrastructure not civilians, they targeted the Apartment regime not white people, why the world supported the South African struggle and Nelson Mandela’s ANC.

Glad we could justify the killing of a “baby” because America has killed more, at least 20. Nazi’s also killed a couple of Jewish babies, what is just one more, it’s not like Hamas target this specific baby, kidnapped the baby, refused to hand it back if it was really an error, not keep the baby as a hostage until the baby finally died of “natural death”.

People it was a single baby, please support Hamas because not supporting them, even if the justifiably killed one baby (and not 20 if it was the USA), is basically not supporting Palestine and its people whom these acts of Hamas, like killing one tiny baby, are done in the Palestinian people’s name.

I’m talking about the baby which got shot in the arms of the mother (not a crib as the Elon propaganda tour would have you believe). Further circumstances of what happened are unknown.

The Bibas baby wasn’t taken by Hamas, and was killed by Israel.

Hamas cannot conduct October the 7th and then wash their hands and say some of the chaos and killing was not our doing, it was others, lets make a boogeyman called Israel spies yes that is who, Hamas peacefully entered Israel on Oct 7, how baby got into Gaza and subsequently died was nothing to do with Hamas, it was those Israeli spies

Not everyone who participated in Al Aqsa Flood was Hamas and those who took the Bibas family were confirmed not part of Hamas. But the way you keep confidently speaking to defend Israel when you have no idea what you’re talking about tells me you’re not under the “ANC government” so I’ll end it here.

Not defending Israel, just this was about Hamas and the mayor saying he does not support them. I give you my reasoning why I agree with his view. I like how you attack me, the messenger, as if you know anything about me. But this isn’t about me, probably my mistake to try and find comparisons from my own life, but I know better now.

I really do hope the Palestinian people get to have peace and prosper, really hope they can have like what we in SA did and live in harmony together. Thank fuck we had Mandela and de Klerk that was able to negotiate peace and lead us to a constitutional democracy.

But I will not support Hamas personally, nor Netenyau’s government, hopefully both sides(Palestine and Israel) can get leaders such as ours that can work together. I really hope for everyone there they find a way to live together.

Otherwise this is my last comment on this thread, not gonna waste more of my time, I do not want to change your opinion nor would I want you to change your opinion, we both can have our own valid opinions. So cheers and my not a drop of blood be further spilled on either side

What a ridiculous thing to say. And what a stupid way of doing politics. This is exactly how the Zionists are losing the antisemitism narrative and you want to flip it over and push this to the Palestinians. Just like the Zionists fall on their faces by conflating Israel with Jews, you are trying to conflate the Palestinians with Hamas. What a profoundly misguided thing to do.

The millions of Palestinians who do not want Hamas to be the leader of anything do not owe your little fantasy narrative anything. And the millions upon millions of people who have been protesting the genocide do not owe an oath of fealty to some right wing Islamist faction anything.

It’s really telling that your last few posts have been about NY progressives not cowing to your campist fantasy. You’d rather attack the few holdouts of progressive politics in the US and see them become internally divided and fail. You’d rather align with the Right to harass Mamdani with cheap shots that make you look like the pure ideologue than to actually do the quiet institutional work that will actually position the anti-apartheid movement better.

Your moralistic pronouncements “if you do that you don’t do that” that make political positions sound like personality failures are silly and ridiculous. What a stupid thing to say that if someone doesn’t support your favourite Palestinian faction they are pro genocide. What arrogance. You personalize and normalize vitriol in politics, you make it toxic and discouraging to anyone disagreeing with you. Go cosplay 19th century German academic invective style all you like but this isn’t how any of this works.

The genocide will not end because of whatever Hamas does. The genocide will end when the anti-apartheid movement in Zionist bases of support succeeds in cutting off that support. And if you think support for Hamas is how you do that, well boy oh boy.

I’m sure it’s part of the plan but right now I’m more focused on the American resistance.
