    https://github.com/LemmyNet/jerboa/issues/1666

Lol I remember the buggy mess that is Jerboa, even now I installed it fresh to login and check the crosspost for you and…it crashed and reopening it works and shows logged in but I can’t do anything because apparently my account is being verified lmao

Jerboa is essentially alpha maybe beta, and dessalines has stated he doesn’t have the time to work on it between Lemmy server and Lemmy UI

That’s weird, I don’t have that problem. Wonder if it’s some kind of incompatibility with your instance? What other open source clients are people using

Idk but I just kept tapping the profile button and then it just started working lmfao

You’re right, this is the first app I’ve seen that actually does not show a crosspost menu, the absolute irony that it’s the official Lemmy android app lolol

Maybe if I have some time this weekend I could fix it myself and see if dessalines will merge it lol

Can I ask why you stick with Jerboa? Years ago I used it because it was the most functional at the time of the great Reddit migration, but it was so buggy I stopped using Lemmy altogether for like 2 months until Boost came out

That would be pog, would appreciate that feature

I really don’t experience much in the way of bugs, only that it doesn’t handle instances going offline very well. It’s open source, free, runs well and doesn’t drain battery, and has a layout that’s intuitive. It hasn’t slowed down or got laggy over time. I like that I can very easily swap between my accounts on various instances, each with their own sets of settings. I haven’t noticed any missing features apart from the cross posting

I haven’t tried any other clients since I installed it, but back then like you said there weren’t many others
