He went on about how everyone in his age group remembers the Sun being orange, and by me questioning him, I’m calling him and all his peers liars and I’m stupid because I’m younger than him and vaccinated.
Totally. Ive noticed a pattern with these kooks (much like fox news viewers) they almost always have no control over their life and very little money. So they turn to conspiracies and being a victim so to them their life situation makes sense.
That’s a really good point too. Belief in conspiracies and other junk beliefs can be a surrogate for agency.
