    You’re joking, right? They didn’t live to 40 years old lol.

    They were basically caveman equivalent in terms of advancement. They wouldn’t have 99.9% of what they have now if not for the British. Would they have even invented the wheel yet? Probably not, since they hadn’t in 60,000 years…….

    Not a single person alive today would want to go back to living how the aboriginals did. If they did, they could just go and do it in the outback - nothings stopping them. They could go and have their average life expectancy of 30-35 years old, forage and hunt, and so on. Why don’t they?

      Why don’t they return to traditional living? Because the knowledge is gone and the land has been colonised. I’m not saying it was an easy life but the life expectancy was actually much better before colonisation, much better than 40 and certainly better than Europe’s poor at the time.

      You also can’t judge a culture for not inventing the wheel. It’s like saying Europeans are inferior because they hadn’t invented the boomerang or water tree. Europeans didn’t need those things just as Aboriginals didn’t need to build roads and haul cargo up and down them every day.
