Unfortunately unless this is passed Europe Wide and also restricting US Navel Ships in other nations waters this at most just gives the UK plausible deniability (I say plausible deniability because the UK Government has their own interest in removing the Theocratic regime of Iran)
It’s still a step in the right direction compared to how the UK has enabled American misbehaviour in the past.
Previously they had congressional approval, so UK had just been a “good” ally.
This is just Trump overextending himself in his “special military operations” and not giving a shit.
