A trolley was headed for a blind deaf man who was incapable of feeling pain, we could let him die and he wouldn’t notice or we could pull the lever and it would hit the safe destroying the bullying reports the victim of the bully would not know he got away with it because he’s moved to a school in Canada and the bully has already learned his lesson so a net good would technically come from the outcome.
Trust me I actually argued we should let blind man die because there’s no victims and you get a net good from the other side, my colleague was the one who argued the life had intrinsic value.
In the end we couldn’t agree so we flipped a coin.
