Right, the Gaza Genocide isn’t US Politics… Those aren’t US made bombs being dropped with US politicians cheering them on and US diplomatic support and denial allowing the Genocide to continue. Nothing could be more salient to US politics than the ways in which the Palestinian Genocide drove us to war.

The third article is relevant because the US and Israel have been intimately interwoven in their escalation of Genocide and breaking of international norms, if a Genocide begins in Lebanon it will be a DIRECT continuation of US politics applied first in Israel and next in Lebanon. I mean what the hell we are fighting a war RIGHT NOW and this is the biggest escalation possible IN THAT WAR. How is that NOT related to US politics???

The fourth article about there being no ceasefire in Gaza, I don’t even know how to go about this one, om, it is politics involving primarily the US here? The US is directly and intimately complicit in the Palestinian Genocide, you cannot in good conscience nor with logical consistency separate US politics cleanly from this issue, if you wanted that to be possible you should have spoken up louder against the Genocide before, now it is too late to fumble with broken stilted arguments like this. The Palestinian Genocide is US Politics, period, end of story.

UN security council vetoes to prevent the passage of resolutions calling for a permanent ceasefire? Check. The burial of internal US government reports warning of war crimes and famine in Gaza? It wasn’t just Biden. The vast majority of Democrats in Congress spent much of 2024 casting vote after vote to keep arming, funding and whitewashing the mass killing of Palestinian civilians. Even now, in the summer of 2025, seven high-profile Democratic senators were happy to take a smiling photo with Netanyahu, including the Senate minority leader Chuck Schumer, who claims talk of genocide is antisemitic and says his job “is to keep the left pro-Israel”.

You’re implying the US cares enough about Palestinians to hire Israel to eliminate them and that couldn’t be farther from the truth. They don’t care about Palestinians one way or another.
There’s only one thing US Politicians actually care about and that’s money. Israelis have it, Palestinians don’t, and it really doesn’t get any farther than that.
If there were a Palestinian equivalent of AIPAC, things could change. Until then, AIPAC will continue to target and eliminate any US politician who dares step out of line.

It’s not just Jordan, though. I’m in the modlogs daily. There is a clear pattern of hiding thoughtful pieces against Western entity war crimes, crimes against humanity, genocide, human trafficking, drug trafficking, pedophilia, murder, genocide, and slavery. A lot of Western citizens are either doing ok, still have a roof, treats, disposable income and deny there are serious issues with maltreatment of both citizens and noncitizens, another lot aren’t doing so well, homeless and couch surfing, skipping medicines and meals, or are literally on the streets disabled and dying, and seriously trauma-bonded to their nation-states, and the rest are simply disenfranchises and trapped. And the culture on this and other instances is to support denial and silence dissent, until even compradore mainstream media and UN can’t cover it up anymore.

I think Lund is an exaggerated example of the White, imperial core labor aristocrat who correctly recognizes where his privilege & treats come from: imperialism and a domestic racial hierarchy.
People aren’t “brainwashed” insofar as they don’t actually believe the lies, not in the way that we generally understand belief. It’s more correct to say that they go along with them, whether enthusiastically or apprehensively, because it’s actually their optimal survival strategy.
