Ugh, just wish it was someone more…ideologically agreeable…that was making this kind of statement.

      Why a hamster?

A lawyer representing 4chan has repeatedly responded to Ofcom’s legally binding, “dozens of pages” of correspondence by stating it will make “excellent bedding for my pet hamster”.

If 4chan disappears, the users wont. They will go somewhere else.

Surely its better to keep the monkeys in the jungle and not force them to move into the cities

If 4chan disappears, the users wont. They will go somewhere else.

Evidence of other online communities show that this will not be the case. The community will splinter into several other forums, key users will leave and nothing will really replace the old forum

I have to say, though, there are so many neonazi military LARPers trying to outwank each other that some threads actually manage to predict things that the media only catches up with days later. Eg they got the time of the attack on Iran to within 3h. And some other things that manage to be right under all the racism noise. (OK, fine, in hindsight, I wasn’t there checking all the other predictions they may have made that I did not see and failed.)
