    I have to appreciate the fact that my country (US) squandered years of opportunity to repair relations with Cuba and turn them into an ally, all for the sake of a ridiculous cold war era grudge.

    Hey now, they called it a “Quarantine”, not a “Blockade.” Completely different things. One’s an act of war and the other’s not. And… well, that’s basically the only difference.

    The last time Congress officially declared war was in 1942 so obviously it can’t be an act of war.

      i would like to nominate germany to help run the blockade. they have uboats to sneak by.

      i would nominate myself, but i am water soluble and cannot be submerged for longer than 10 minutes.
