I was going to have a trainer ride her today, but she was too sore for it. I didn’t even saddle her due to how sensitive her back is right now.

Wow! That’s amazing. Thanking you again for sharing your and Sandy’s odyssey with us!
Thank you! It’s been such a journey but so worth it. One of the hardest but most gratifying things I’ve ever done. Now that she’s in good shape, we gotta get her manners and training back to what they used to be years ago.
You are welcome! You’re putting in so much dedicated effort, I think you’ll get there, or a close-enough approximation of it. I do hope (and think that probably) Sandy will be okay soon. I also think you two are a great team and really good for each other. It’s been such a blessing taking this vicarious journey with you both, and seeing the portrait @ballshapedman did made my heart swell with vicarious pride, joy, and genuine appreciation for all three of you!
Aw thanks for the kind words! It means a lot to me! I’m so glad Sandy has made you happy!
You’re so welcome; but not just Sandy, it’s all the love, care, and energy you give her. It’s amazingly tender and touching. Your posts ooze love and pride, and I’m here for it!
There are several of us here just for that! :)
