I see dumb people. They’re everywhere. And they don’t even know that they’re dumb.

LNP and Gun Nation voters care to explain how they are going to pay for ‘planning ahead’?
Both are fossil fools who 100% back trashing of this planet - like the US tyrant

Not a voter for either party, but the only coherent answer to this is the national strategic petroleum reserve - we have chronically failed to meet our obligation of 90-days as part of our agreement with the International Energy Agency.

This is not a new failing that can be solely blamed on Labor, we have failed to meet this target for over a decade (basically since 2012) - the entire previous Turnbull/Abbot/Morrison shit-show should shoulder a good chunk of the blame for letting it get so low under their watch.

      No, you misunderstand.

You dig up all the various forms of dino juice, then bury it in your own backyard in case you need it later.

You take out massive loans to dig it up and store it, but then when you need it years later it’s worth so much more you can make a profit.

      Kinda like investment housing, really.

The first two options are essentially the same. Australia should have planned on an insane US destabilizing the global economy and built the necessary infrastructure.

Sure, the instability is America’s fault, but it’s on everyone else for not seeing it coming and planning accordingly.

Spending on prevention is never well received. Sure, we could save a shit load of money long term by funding exercise, but it would cost a heap and take a long time to see outcomes. If pre-war the government spent 10bn on holding extra fuel on-shore, everyone would politically kick off.

So polls like this, along with national demographics and statistics, are why I’ve expected the US to fall to fascism since 9/11, why I consider the UK most likely to fall to fascism next, and why both Australia and Canada are not far behind.

This data explains that the entire right wing reject reality; they are weak minded cucks who believe whatever Murdoch and the entire fascist propaganda machine tell them to believe. This is the same data I’ve been seeing my entire adult life. I can’t even remember a single reputable poll or stat that does anything but reinforce their ignorance and mental illness.
