minus-squarehomes@piefed.worldlinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up9·edit-23 days agoI don’t know where you live, so I can’t visit your local library to find out. But, if they do, it won’t be because of magic. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

minus-squarehomes@piefed.worldlinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up4arrow-down2·edit-23 days agoSomeone could download the movie, burn it to disc, and then donate it to a local library. Nothing magic about that. Unless personal generosity is magic.

minus-squareexplodicle@sh.itjust.workslinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up1·1 day agoEntertainmeonly is implying that public libraries don’t accept pirated movies at all, so nobody will find an example. What countries are you folks in? Here in the USA I’ve never seen a pirated movie at the library.

It is foolish to assume that just because you have never seen something that it must therefore be impossible to exist I have personally donated several pirated DVDs and Blurays to my local library. It is possible if you have the will and determination to do such a thing.

Name one public library that carries pirated movies. I’ll wait.
Why don’t you name one?
Entertainmeonly is implying that public libraries don’t accept pirated movies at all, so nobody will find an example.

Why would I do that?
