The visualization doesn’t have data for the more representative cities, i.e. Johannesburg, Durban (eThekwini), Germiston (Ekhruleni) and Pretoria (Tshwane), which collectively have 3-4 times the population and I believe are the most likely contributors to the high walking figures found from the National Household Travel Survey (2013).
