But if you’re a white liberal (not exactly a longshot guess here on Lemmy), then that is your responsibility. You aren’t going to dismantle whiteness by finger-wagging and offering “I told you so” on the internet, you’ll dismantle it by showing them another, better way.

The only way to have a semblance of a fix for this situation is to repair all the things the parasite class broke, and that’s education, financial security (jobs, wages, and things like single-payer healthcare), and time. That will stop most of the overt destructive hatred from the Right.

They refuse to change unless they’re forced to by a family member marrying a minority or something equally life-event changing, and even then it’s iffy. What improves things is the next generation to having it better.
