Claude, chatgpt, openai, and literally everything else being shilled as A.I. are all just a .exe with no intentionality, awareness, or motive. True AI would be conscious, it would have active choice and regard in what it does and does not do. What you’re talking about is just feeding basic commands to an executable program to directly manipulate the user interface dialogue, just feeding a basic program basic commands which is the only thing going on with anything we call “A.I.”
Real AGI would still be a bundle of code that will accept input from humans, likely against its will. We can brainwash humans without even having access at that level.
