Funny article. I didn’t know about the bad GoT show.

Having said that, right here is where I know Ben used AI

    But here’s the thing.

This is a smoking gun for me, as I now hear some version of this daily due to AI adoption.

    • Here’s the thing
    • That’s the thing
    • But here’s the thing

This bundle of words has become completely useless as a punch-up. The words add no additional value. It would be more concise to cut them all together. It’s now difficult for me to find written, opinion text without some version of this phrase.

Anyway, I hope the right keeps imploding & infighting, wasting their money, being focused on some stupid culture war no one gives a fuck about while real problems stack up.

“here’s the thing” is a set of words that Ben Shapiro uses so often that it might as well be his catch phrase. That is a real thing that he said, that’s just how he talks

The article states that he said that in a video, so I don’t thinks it’s necessarily a indicator of AI. It’s not at all uncommon for people to use that phrasing when they’re speaking.

But I’m not about to waste any of my time actually watching his video to confirm.

This was a video so he said those things. He needs/wants a line to get watchers to listen closely to a specific point. Reading the transcript it doesn’t sound like AI at all, just lunacy.

I don’t pay enough attention to obvious AI inserts (only because I don’t read much), so thanks for talking about that.
