I will never use an Iphone, but the idea of Google actually caring about this stuff is ridiculous. The Android playstore is the software equivalent of a failed state.
The iOS App Store is possibly worse even. A complete cesspool of bottom-feeders, garbage, and anything that’s free gets buried because they only want the money-makers to be seen.
It’s the source of basically ALL malware
If you search for an obvious thing like “Messages”, the top result is malware.

Those apps prevent Google from listening in on your phone’s microphone.
