Buy from authors website or sometimes patreon. Calibre + digital library download. My local library has an app, and you can just get the book and then sideload. Yoho if I cant find it elsewhere. I try really hard to give authors money in some way…but sometimes Yoho is all you got if they have an amazon exclusive contract. Its been 14+ years with this combo and I cant say I have ever had issues getting books.
