Damning new data from inside the Pentagon suggests that U.S. forces are currently expending more resources defending Israel from missile strikes than Israeli forces themselves…

Three officials with knowledge of Defense Department assessments told The Washington Post on Thursday that the lopsided effort “underscores the extent to which Washington has shouldered the burden of countering Iranian ballistic missile strikes during Operation Epic Fury.”

U.S. forces, according to those assessments, have used up to half their total inventory of certain high-altitude interceptor systems, while Israel has deployed its own at a slower rate…
The situation has apparently sparked alarm among American allies in Asia, particularly South Korea and Japan, which depend on U.S. anti-missile defense systems to deter attacks from hostile states such as China and North Korea.

Hostile states, who haven’t bothered anyone. Just like Iran, Palestine, Lebanon, Libya, Iraq, Syria…

Well no shit. Why do you think Miriam Adleson bribed Trump with $300 million dollars? He’ll spend every last cent of our tax dollars defending a foreign fascist country.

That’s not exactly fair. He’s also enriching himself, his family, and billionaire club flatterers.

The only hostile countries I am aware of is the US, Isreal and Russia. None of those 3 are responsible enough to have nukes. The rest of the world should demand that they dismantle their programs and stockpiles

What are you talking about? Both China and North Korea have tried taking over their neighbors numerous times. North Korea routinely launches missiles at SK, while China literally attacks Philippine and Taiwan boats in the straight of Taiwan. Azerbaijan has been attacking Armenia since 2021.

Wikipedia has a massive list. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_ongoing_armed_conflicts

There are very few countries that aren’t hostile. Switzerland is the only one I can think if right now, but I know there are more neutral countries.

Taiwan, Philippines, and Vietnam are about as much of a threat to the PRC as Palestine is to Israel.

A better response would be that China hasn’t started a war against them since them since it invaded Vietnam in the 70s, and it’s small border wars with India are more mutual wars.

If you’re instead advocating that Azerbaijan isn’t attacking Armenia, sorry for the East Asia spiel, I’ll go and be shocked by your position for a while.

China didn’t invade vietnam in the 1970s, the US did. This is the easiest history question how did you get it wrong.

As far as the rest of your misinterpretation of history based on a radiofreeasia fantasy George HW Bush himself would be jealous he couldn’t come up with in his time at the CIA; Taiwan is literally the imperial government China rebelled against. They lost the war. They are not a separate country, and no country on earth suggests they are a separate country, they are just the last holdouts from a fascist government. They didn’t even have elections until the 1990s, and that was because the US threatened to stop economically supporting them. Vietnam isn’t hostile to China or vice versa, in fact they have a railway planned to increase overland trade. Yes some Vietnamese vessels I’m sure have violated China’s sovereignty. And like the US with boats from Mexico, they have been interdicted under international law.

Same with the fascists in the Philipines who were capturing Chinese fishing vessels under the Duterte regime and killing Chinese citizens summarily for their ‘war on drugs.’ Recent interdictions have been philipino vessels in Chinese waters or coming too close to chinese vessels. Given the very recent history from the regime of the internationally recognized terrorist regime Duterte, you can understand why they don’t fuck around, right?
