I’ve through three major hurricanes: Irma, Ian, and Milton. Irma was okay, Milton was bad, Ian was baaad.

Short answer: nope.

It would not hold up.

New houses are built to crazy code anyway.

The big risk is flooding, and a tarp won’t do anything about it.
