Euphoria season three makes Game of Thrones season eight look like season four.

I’m glad the show is over by the end of the last episode I was completely over it.

Euphoria season 3 was definitely bad, but despite it being the same showrunner it feels more like it was a spinoff run by someone else who wanted to tell a completely different story, basically a bad fanfic.

But if you want to just watch Euphoria season 1, the COVID specials, & season 2 (which you should, they’re excellent), it tells a complete story. You can completely ignore season 3 and still feel like you’re viewing a completed series.

I do think season 3 has some storylines that are interesting, but certain characters are completely different, have zero story, and the story they have is just bad. Specifically I think Rue’s storyline mostly works. It’s definitely not as grounded as the previous seasons and I have issues with many parts of it, but I do think it mostly works.

I saw the first season was shocked. I mean compared to my high school days, I was plain as a slice bread with pb and strawberry jam or orange marmalade… I find the whole hbo context a bit aggressive at times, like I completely understand that there are people out there doing life (sex, drugs etc). But like hbo tacks on that extra (people pay for hbo tax so we have to maxx on it). I enjoy hbo content but generally Id avoid naive and immature context, especially when high school kids are out their and trying to live life to the hbo style…
