Main user got eventually banned for liking a comment, i was on a last warning and subsequent alts got caught by machine algorithms detecting uncharacteristic behavior for a new user or some links to the original banned user, like device ID or browser ID. All alts got shadowbanned after first few comments.
After few weeks of trying different approaches i gave up and decided it’s more effort to try to bypass the detection algorithms than it’s worth to browse reddit.
oh yea they started targeting UPVOTES as bots, also any acitvity from an old accoun they will ban, even newly created accounts. and some subs do not like new accounts. they retroactive ban people to, which is a new thing. there was ways to evade it but its not worth it, since it requires to pay for things like new devices, a different ip, use of unique proxies that reddit doesnt detect immediately, and anti-detect browser which uses these proxies to create new instances of your browser(hence theoretically seperating the accounts from one another). these cost money though and it seems to geared towards people earning money through reddit(by directing traffic to thier own site).
plus they look at you fingerprinting on your browser, and device components too.
