Text: Amazon’s electric cargo bikes have arrived in DC.

Image: A four-wheeled vehicle that appears to be a cross between a bicycle, a go-cart, and a mini-truck

Response text from high t alpha shemale @gluetaster: that’s not a cargo bike man that’s a loopholemobile

Edit: I found a slightly higher-quality version of the image:

The opposite leg stance in the image make these look like rods off of a center ctrank. And its a beam frame. Here if you have an electric bike but it has e-assist pedals rather than a hand throttle then its considerable a bicycle for road rules.

Here’s another 4 wheeler “bike” from Amazon delivery

        From the DC article.

“The cargo ‘e-bikes’ use electric bicycle drivetrains and include pedals with a pedal-by-wire system common in three- and four-wheeled cargo e-bikes that translates the user’s pedal power into forward motion via an electric motor.”

As much as this is no longer a bike, its still a bike by law sadly

As much as I don’t think it is a bike, that’s the definition in my province, and can act as a bike. If it accelerates by pedal force(even if assistated) rather than a throttle, and is sped limited, it is classed the same as a regular pedal bike.
